Trinity Play meets every Sunday morning from 9:15 - 10:00 during the program year (September - May) and is for children ages in Pre-K through fourth grade. We use the curriculum The Way of the Child, which is based on the premise that children are spiritual beings, yet often in the course of their everyday lives have little opportunity to listen to God and develop a deepening relationship with God. To nurture a growing spirituality, children need quiet and silence, an opportunity to open their imagination in reflection, and an environment of peace and respect. Every Sunday, children learn and practice spiritual disciplines, including Bible study, talk about God’s presence in their lives, and deepen their personal relationship with God.
Trinity Play Children’s Choir
Practices take place Sunday mornings before Trinity Play, from 9:00 - 9:15. The choir performs during the 10:15 service at various times throughout the program year.
Prayer Buddy Program
In this greatly popular program, Trinity children, ages 5 through grade 4, are paired with adult parishioners. Prayer buddies build intergenerational relationships, hold one another in prayer, and meet four to five Sunday mornings throughout the program year.
Involvement in the Prayer Buddy Program is a wonderful way for adults to support children's faith formation. It also allows children to develop a meaningful relationship with a non-parent adult, which has been shown to improve children’s well-being.
