Children's Ministry Coordinator
Laura is a cradle Episcopalian who first came to Trinity on Epiphany Sunday, 2016. To her surprise, she was given a role in that morning’s pageant and has been assisting with Trinity’s children’s ministry ever since. In 2018, Laura assumed the role of Children's Ministry Coordinator. She is thrilled to be working with Trinity’s youngest members, building on their innate spirituality and fostering their connection to God, as Creator, Christ, and Holy Spirit.
Laura holds a master’s degree from Lesley University in middle school math education. She taught grades 5-8 for several years in Massachusetts before leaving the workforce to care for her small children.
A job at the University of Minnesota for Laura’s husband, Ben, brought the Brubaker family to Minneapolis, and they love it here! Laura, Ben, and their three children are members of Trinity and enjoy being part of its thoughtful, active, and inspiring community.
When Laura finds some time to herself, she can be found reading, running, or holed up in her bedroom watching her most favorite guilty pleasure, Grey's Anatomy.
