Sunday mornings, 9:15 – 10:00 am in the French Fireside Room
Adults are encouraged to grab a cup of coffee and come to the Fireside Room between the 8:00 and 10:15 am worship services for the Adult Forum, an opportunity to go deeper in our knowledge of the Bible, our relationships with each other, and in learning how to live as Christians in the world.
The Adult Forum program has ended for the 2018-2019 season. One of the last sessions was this:
LIVING IN THE TRINITY:
SPIRITUAL GROUND IN A DIVERSE WORLD
The year ends full-circle by looking at climate change in light of the inter-connection, flow and wholeness of Being and Love in the Trinity.
Using Laudato Si, Pope Francis' 2015 Encyclical on the effects of Climate Change and its impact on the poor in the developing world will be presented followed by an exploration of the spiritual imperative of environmental stewardship. Click here to see the slide show for the powerful presentation facilitated by Rev. Fred Nairn, Trinity member.
The Adult Forum will return in the fall with programs to deepen our understanding of being Christians in today's world.
Men’s Bible Study
Tuesday mornings 7:30-8:30 am
At this weekly gathering, participants reflect on the past Sunday’s scripture readings through conversation and commentary. The Rev. Leonard Freeman leads challenging and vibrant discussions. (And there are always donuts. Good donuts.)
Every Wednesday 10:00-11:30 am in the Fireside Room
Each week, Trinity women meet for fellowship, Bible study, book studies, guest speakers on current religious topics, and conversation. Wednesday Women sometimes go “on the road,” whether to the Minnesota Institute of Arts or the nearby Arboretum. The goal of this group is to learn and deepen in faith through the experience of accepting community. This group is always dynamic, always new, always loving and always open.
