Ministry Areas at TrinityFind A Way To Engage That Fits

A theologian once characterized the importance of spiritual community in this way: “…the hardest spiritual work in the world is to love the neighbor as thy self – to encounter another human being not as someone you can use, change, fix, help, save, enroll, convince, or control, but simply as someone who can spring you from the prison of yourself…For this reason and more, the world’s greatest religions have always required communities of people to make them work. Whether they call themselves congregations, covens, ummas, or churches, these communities are the concrete places where the teachings of the religion are seeded.”

At Trinity we understand that we need each other—community—to grow our personal faith, to better know God and to help us live as Christians in the world. Small groups help us be known within the church community, build relationships and foster a sense of connectivity and belonging and purpose. Within small group gatherings we experience the presence of the living God.
